Why February, and why Marrakech
February is the point in the year when most of the European options stop being usable and the calendar starts looking thin. Marrakech is short-haul from the UK and comfortable at that time of year, which is the practical reason it earns a place on a shortlist for a first-quarter programme.
Beyond the season, the city puts a lot within a short transfer — historic quarters, gardens, desert and mountains all reachable inside a programme day. That is what gives you variety across three days without spending them on the road.
